Designing is the translation of thoughts, emotions and ideas, which have developed for a variety of reasons. Design must be seductive. It is the beginning of the journey to implementation and realization. Understanding what is important, this is ultimately the first step in a mapping process that leads to final results. This means determining requirements, while at the same time remaining as open as possible to new ideas, which are not restrained by factors that will inevitably add constraints in the realization phase of the Project such as costs, conventions and marketability. In order to create something new, you have to remain open and have the courage to break away from established forms. However; an idea, or design, must be realizable in order to insure that the end product remains consistent with the original idea. Success lies in the harmony of the elements, the layout, the materials and their function. The initial design is thus the foundation for the final result.

Project management implies costs, deadlines, and quality. It also means making sure that everything happens at the right time. In addition to all planning activities and plan delineations, there comes a time in every project where the threshold between theory and practice needs to be understood. This requires recognition and negotiation. As a planning office, we are always prepared for practical issues. This means, we also see to it that what we have planned also gets built. Part of our comprehensive service is to ensure that a project is realized according to our plan. This is the implementation of our service guarantee. In addition to providing high-level professional construction management, overseeing timelines, regulating costs, and managing the processes to ensure that it is completed on time and in accordance with the quality we demand, we also work as project controllers. That means we take on the role of building commissioner in a trustworthy and responsible way. A long legacy of successfully planned and realized projects puts us in the position to be able to take on almost any assignment and lead it successfully to completion. The value of insight, overview and an ability to look into the future, combined with good communication skills, contribute significantly to our success.

Building also means that you are committed, literally and figuratively. Eventually your words and ideas will become bricks, concrete, wood, glass and metal that can not be reinterpreted or construed. To create balanced proportions, proper relationships, functionality and form with “non-living” building materials is the ultimate artistic, economic and structural challenge.

We build houses in order to protect ourselves from environmental challenges and to feel comfortable. However there is also a space that is essentially the wrapping around something else – open urban space. In addition to living spaces, we also plan public spaces, adventure areas, places that invite you to linger awhile or to join in the festivities. We consider experiencing the spaces outside a building,
the view, the nature and development to be an important part of a project. A beautifully designed space is not enough. It is also important that the “underground,” designed by our team of engineers, is properly constructed to ensure that everything above ground; traffic, water features, lighting or simply accessibility works.

„Building means, appropriately housing the process of life (living, celebrating and administering) and at the same time making the meaning and value of these life processes visible. The degree to which both objectives can be achieved in a work depends upon ‘art’, that means ‘ability’ but also upon the power of the ‘Statement.’ Where the inner confession of this life process is lacking, the “Statement” is missing and the building is left to the mere ‘ability’ ”.

Architecture is art, it is life and it is a feeling. Many factors such as technical, constructive, artistic, creative, and even social factors play an important role in this process. Additionally other factors such as economics, legislation, and also cultural-historic concerns must be taken into consideration. Architecture today demands the ability to combine function and desire so that all private, social and aesthetic aspects come together harmoniously.

Because, the mixture of the different disciplines; architecture, engineering and management is so important, to ensuring eventual success. Working interdisciplinary mean to think outside the box and in many dimensions, to consider a problem from all aspects and find a fitting solution. Concretely it means integrating the efforts of all of the participating specialists early on to ensure that they will be able to step in at the appropriate time in the planning process and moreover, to ensure that functionality, feasibility and budget restrains are held in consideration. This allows us to visualize the entire process at an early stage and have a better idea of what to expect. This is an important part of our corporate philosophy and responsibility. This challenges us to break away from old thinking patterns and to be open to new ideas and inspirations. This is our greatest strength and is confirmed by the variety of references and assignments that we have passionately and successfully taken on as General Planners.[/ultimate_modal]
